Terms of Service

The rules for using Happie, in plain words.

The short version

Who we are

Happie is a meal planner run by Code Typers in the Netherlands. By signing in you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Happie.

Your account

AI-made recipes

Recipes, meal plans and advice come from an AI model. They can contain mistakes: wrong amounts, missing steps or ingredients that do not fit your diet. Happie tries to respect the allergies and diets you set, but it is not a medical or nutrition service. Always read the ingredients and use your own judgement before cooking, especially when allergies are involved.

Groceries and Picnic

When you connect Picnic, Happie can add products to your basket and pick a delivery slot. It never checks out for you: you confirm and pay for every order in Picnic yourself, under Picnic's own terms. Products, prices and availability come from Picnic and may change. Happie is not affiliated with Picnic.

Your content

Recipes and notes you create stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run Happie for you and your household. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share.

Fair use

Please do not:

AI use has limits per household to keep costs fair. We may pause or close accounts that break these terms.

The service

Happie is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running, but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or stop features. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as a meal that did not turn out or an order that went wrong. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law.

Ending

You can stop using Happie at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end your access if you break these terms, and will tell you why when we can.

Changes and law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
